Michael Discenza is an associate in Cassin & Cassin’s Real Estate Finance Group. Mr. Discenza focuses his practice on all aspects of commercial real estate finance and has extensive experience representing institutional lenders in connection with the financing of multi-family, office, retail and mixed-use properties. In addition, he has experience counseling financial institutions in secured and unsecured financings, including asset-based loans, revolving lines of credit, letters of credit, and tax-exempt bond issuances to affordable and supportive housing developers.

Prior to joining Cassin, Mr. Discenza was an associate at Conway Farrell and was also associated with a well-known New York City law firm and a Syracuse based law firm where he focused on the representation of real estate developers, operators, and individuals in the acquisition and disposition of commercial and residential real estate and commercial leasing.

Mr. Discenza received his Juris Doctor from Albany Law School and his Bachelor of Science from College of the Holy Cross. He is admitted to practice in the State of New York and before the United States District Court for the Northern District of New York and is a member of the New York State Bar Association, Mortgage Bankers Association of New York, Young Mortgage Bankers Association, Urban Green Council, and the Urban Land Institute.
